Melissa & Doug Princess Role Play Set

I bought this for my almost 3 year old for Halloween, as well as dress up. It was better made than I've seen of ANY princess dress on the market, especially for the price. My daughter loves it and it's nice that there is no brand (or specific princess) marked all over the dress, really allowing her imagination to take her wherever it may roam! As far as size, it's great. A little big, perfect to grow into, but not too big she couldn't dance in it. Lastly, the crown and wand have "sparkles", that are actually colored in parts of the plastic, and not dangerous jewels that can fall off and get lost or be swallowed by a younger sibling. Would highly recommend!

The dress is very pretty, much nicer than similarly priced Disney costumes. Fit my 6 1/2 year old comfortably, she may even have it to play dress up for another year or two. My daughter specifically commented that it was comfortable and "not scratchy like Tinker Bell".

We purchased this for my daughter's 4th birthday and are very happy with it. This dress seems to be much better made than the more popular princess dresses available and even comes with the crown and sceptor. The crown and sceptor do not have jewels glued into them, but rather are painted in spots so it looks like there are jewels so you don't have to worry about them falling out and losing them or a younger one finding it and putting it in the mouth. They are very sturdy plastic and not very flimsy at all. Also, the dress itself is very soft and not scratchy. My daughter already wears a size 5 and the sizing is good as there seems to be room for growth and putting it on over other clothes right now. She has not been too into the princess stuff, but she absolutely loves this set! I have always been very happy with the quality of Melissa & Doug toys and this one is no exception!
