I purchased this item a couple of weeks ago and I've been pretty pleased. I'm 26 wks pregnant and even though I work in an office, things can get pretty loud in here so it's great to know that I can play soft mellow music for my baby while I'm at work.
In addition, I like the fact that your family can leave messages for the baby and you can download them to your IPOD or media device. The downside is you have to purchase minutes, but the cost is minimum. I would recommend this product to any expecting mother.

We love this thing. You can hook an ipod up to the little jack coming out of the pouch in front and play whatever you want to the baby until the batteries just die on your ipod. It slips down over your head and is well made. I put my ear up to the speaker on the inside and it is loud enough and of good quality.
