At the time I bought this item, the only reviews were about the pump in general. No one mentioned they had bought it from the seller. The Medela Lactinia Select hospital-grade breast pump is indeed an amazing product. My son had eating problems from Day 0, refusing both breast and bottle, and had to spend a week in the NICU. With the week long interruption, my milk was slow to come in, even though I was pumping around the clock using another type of pump in the hospital. I would have to take a syringe and suction drops after each pump, not getting enough to even supplement with. It would take me 4 cycles to get a half an ounce. Once we got home, I used a pump I had borrowed from my cousin, with the same results. This is hands down the best breast pump on the market! I have tried them all. Obviously, it is ridiculously expensive, though it is still cheaper than a year of formula. I was able to rent this one by the month from a local hospital, and it was a lifesaver! It is also the pump that you will likely get from the local health department if you are eligible for WIC. If you rent it or borrow it from WIC, you will still need to buy the kit that has the parts that attach to your breasts. This is one of the only pumps that can be used by multiple people, because the motor is awesome, and none of the parts touch your breast except for your individual kit. When my twins were born 6 weeks premature, they wanted me to start pumping immediately, right in the hospital, so that we could get my son out of the NICU as soon as possible. Product was exactly what I wanted and expected. I am very pleased. Would buy again from this seller. This pump is super fast. Lots of women quit breast feeding when they go back to work because of the time it takes but with the lactina I can pump in under 10 minutes.
