I'm angry this potty is even on the market.

I don't think they even tested this piece of junk before manufacturing it. The day I took it out of the box, my friend saw it said that she had the same one. She explained that pee got everywhere when her son used it so they had to get rid of it, but since I had a girl, I may have better luck. I didn't. This potty has seams and lines throughout that make it perfect for capturing urine and spreading it all over the potty. The inside rim of the seat is large enough to capture urine. There are three pegs under the seat that capture urine. The rim that holds the seat always has puddles of pee after my daughter gets done using it. See that big base at the bottom? The place where you set the removable basin? When liquid gets in that base, there's no way to easily pour it out. You have throw the whole thing in the tub and let water run through it to get the pee out of the base. My friend had warned me about getting urine down there and neither of us can figure out how it gets... Read more

Not good for boys, might work for girls.

Ok, so take what I say with a pinch of salt since my son has not used it and I just got it. That is why I am going to return it.
The pros: It looks ok, my son was definitely interested in using it, it is not expensive and the seat is well cushioned.
The cons: The seat, which in theory adapts to any toilet for latter use is tiny. It can go in the big toilet bowl, so it will NOT work for latter use in a regular toilet seat. The hole in the potty seat is tiny and the green pee guard ends up being too close to the penis so when my son was trying to seat he hurt himself with the green guard (that is why it was not used). I could teach him to hold his penis down and to seat carefully to avoid further pain, but (in my opinion) if potty training is hard work unto itself having this potty is just going to make it harder. If you don't install the green guard thing pee can go everywhere, especially under the seat. This drives me to the last inconvenience I see, the bowl in the potty... Read more
