Trust me, pay a little more and get an Aden & Anais muslin swaddle blanket. They are MUCH better quality. This blanket is thin and not soft at all. I'm hoping it softens in the wash.

I have 3 of these blankets.. 1 at daycare and 2 at home.. They are thin but dont get fooled - definitely keep the little one warm.. My son just loves to sleep with the blanket on his face.. absolutely no idea why.. I feel a little relaxed that if Im not watching he is OK since the material is definitely breathable.. Love the way his face lights up when he sees his blankie :)

I am very pleased that we purchased this swaddle over the other swaddle blankets that have the velcro closure since he has to have his hands outside of the swaddle and by his face to self sooth. We brought this swaddle to the hospital and all the nurses loved it and all commented on how nice it felt but still had enough "scratch" to hold the swaddle and not to mention how cute it is. This swaddle is very large and i expect that it should get much more use out of it over the standard sized swaddle blankets. Also my husband loves the blanket to swaddle our son in since it has the direction tag stitched to the inside so he will never forget how to swaddle him.
