Tilting Bucket - Marble Ball Track Accessory

We received this for my son's third birthday. He was very excited about it. It's a lot of fun. It's hard to get set up just right though so that the ball falls into the bucket and then turns down into the lower track. Also, if the track gets bumped at all by an excited three year old (or his 1 1/2 year old little sister), then you have to start the fine tuning all over again. An older child would probably love the challenge of getting it set up just right. I kind of enjoy it myself. If you're looking for something for a younger child, something like the ringing track would be a better choice (we got that one too).

My son is getting the big Haba marble run building set from us for Christmas but at Thanksgiving he got a couple of the add-on pieces as early gifts from grandparents and this was one of them. It has quickly become the center of every marble run that he builds (using pieces from the musical staircase set & yellow whirlwind set he also got). He has the Amazing Marble Blocks toy that he has enjoyed for years that I could see him combining with this set eventually, although the Haba pieces are delightfully huge and chunky (like 12 inch long ramps HUGE). This bucket is fun and tilts just as it should. Sometimes a fast moving marble will make the bucket do a full flip but it still drops the marble in the right place. Occasionally a marble is moving too fast and ricochets over the top of the bucket but my son seems to think this is also cool and tries to repeat the experiment.
